Variables
Blue-winged Teal
Occurred the most disproportionately in hexagons with more than 6%
wetlands and wet shrubland and less 10% ponderosa pine forest.
Occurred secondarily in hexagons with lesser areas of wetlands and
wet shrubland but with April precipitation (hex. med.) of 13-19 C.
The logistic regression analysis showed positive or negative
association with wetlands and wet shrubland, number of land cover
types, and-to a lesser degree-topographic variation, streamside
forests, towns and cities, the extent of public land, April precipitation
(hex. min.), and April precipitation (hex. med.).
